Drinks are a must-have at every party, so why not make them festive by adorning them with some funky straws. Even a simple glass of coca-cola can instantaneously be transformed into a fancy beverage just by the addition of a simple paper parasol straw. So don’t make the mistake of ignoring this minute detail.

If you are throwing a party with a popular theme like “Mickey Mouse” or “Hannah Montana”, then finding a straw for it is a real no-brainer. You can find customized straws for these at any online store like eBay or Amazon. Even for the less popular themes though finding the appropriate straws shouldn’t be an issue with such a wide range being available in stores.

Now the very least you can do is have your straws color coordinated with the party theme. But why not give your party a little more of pizzazz by getting those twisty swirly ones that make any beverage that much more fun. To give your drinks a tropical feel you could use the straws that come with paper honeycomb tops that fold out to form different fruits. Those cute ones with the flamingoes or pin wheels also never fail to charm the guests. And if it’s a party for kids then they would just be amazed by those “magical” straws that change color as you drink through them. Believe me, they won’t be able to get enough of them!
